Our Partner Organizations
As an entirely volunteer-based, non-profit organization, Ashe Humane Society has tremendous gratitude for our volunteers and our partners, who help us maximize our ability to serve our homeless dog and cat population in Ashe County.
Gardners in Crime
“Gardeners in Crime for a Cause with Paws" is a collection of avid gardeners in Watauga and Ashe counties who propagate and sell plants throughout the year and donate the proceeds to animal rescues. Their contributions to Ashe Humane Society support our low-cost spay/neuter programs to help the animals of Ashe County!
"Gardeners in Crime" (GIC) works as a "Producer" with High Country Food Hub in a regional network of 120 vendors from 8 counties and 3 states. Food Hub operates under the umbrella of the Boone nonprofit, “Blue Ridge Women in Agriculture.”

Centrally located and easy to access for citizens and the large transport van, Jeffferson United Methodist Church is a valued member of our support team as it ministers to humans and animals like.
