FUNDRAISER AND EVENTS HELPERS

With the onset of spring – summer is quickly approaching – it’s time to ramp up for the coming events and fundraisers!  We have a booth at the farmers market throughout the summer and host other events. We aim to hold a fundraiser this summer as well. In addition, we often are invited to set up booths at various community festivals. It’s really a lot of fun!

-          Duties entail helping set up our booth (typically two tents, one which covers the crates with our adoptable cats and kittens) the morning of events, manning the booth, answering general questions (you’ll also have someone “senior”  there to help you in this), and relating positively to the public.

-          There are so many ways for a visionary volunteer to help with coming up with and implementing new ideas for fundraising, educating the public, and getting our name out there! Creativity welcomed!
