Event Volunteer

Christmas in July Event (one day a year)

• Park cars with other volunteers

• Help with set-up and clean-up

Outdoor Events such as West Jefferson Farmers Market, Wine Festival, Blessing of the Animals, Fall event at Church of the Frescoes (once a month, weather permitting)

​

• Set-up the tent

• Hand out brochures about Spay and Neuter, TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release of Ferals)

• Man the booth during the event

• Clean-up and return tent and items to storage unit.

 

Indoor Events such as Adoption Events at Pet Supplies Plus in Boone, NC

• Set-up the cages, cats and kittens

• Take items to sell and promote ACHS

• Man the booth during the event

• Clean-up and return cages, cats/kittens and items to the storage unit.
